Community Care – Howth Trip
Our community care trips take’s place every Thursday if we don’t leave the school a guest speaker comes in and talks to us about certain things. For our first Thursday in 4th year we went to Howth on the 29th of August. Our whole year group went on this trip along with a few SNA’s and a few teachers came too, for example: Ms. Donnelly, Mr. Kelly and Ms.Ferrigan. Some people got changed at the start of period 4 for the trip after we left the school and we all walked to Howth junction and got the train to Howth after we paid for our train ticket. When we got to Howth we all walked down the pier to the light- house and we took a year group photo. Then after the group picture we we’re allowed to go off for 30 minutes and do what we wanted with our friends most of us got a chipper. We had to meet back at Howth train station at a certain time to get the train back home.
